Start of the project still trying to figure out wheel configuration collect some needed parts like steering block and steering servo plastics in white . Assembly will start in the next few days with the parts I have lets see how far I can get.....

Wow, you really got some white parts on there.

I like what im seeing!

I also see the route you took for strengthening the front shock tower (the brace), sweet!

Hope the parts you need to finish it show up soon!

Changed up the wheel combo since I couldn't find an appropriate match so running some vintage TRC's in the rears with matching fronts which I am machining for front axle width......... and big thanks to Matt and Nomad for the front end parts..............

Rolling chassis is done except for a few odds and ends that need changing, still need to install a bunch of stuff . Motor is temporary as of yet which comes to my next question for you guys....

Option 1- modern electronics lipo brushless
Option 2- modern electronics made to look vintage (not an easy task but doable "somewhat")
Option 3- all vintage electronics nicad brushed
Option 4- mix of both

The good stuff not final product though.......

if you are running it, lipo and modern. if you are shelfing, go with the vintage brushed.

I think ill go modern like suggested but use my vintage decals on the motor & battery then put a tiny Spektrum receiver in an old school Novak receiver case.....................................
