I'm now 40 and looking to relive my youth (very early years) and get an RC10 remote control car. I found one on the net and am now taking on the task of getting it revitalized and working. I am really looking forward to getting another running car after all these years! I have a feeling that I will be asking a lot of questions on this forum in the coming days! Thank you for having me.

welcome aboard, looks like a nice project. Look around a bunch, search out what you need, and ask any questions. Put your location in your info section, so we know where you are coming from. lots of guys all over the world, sometimes it's helpful if there is a local guy.

check out this thread for lots and lots and lots of reading, and then go from there.

I have included my location (sarasota FL) in the info section. It would be great to find a local person. Thanks for the tip and the warm welcome!
