A little background.....I have been out of the RC scene for about 25 years. My daughter wanted Santa to bring a RC truck to her for christmas, so in preparation, I decided to start looking to purchase something to run with her. My buddies had RC10's, and always wanted one of my own. Well....a deal came up that I couldnt refuse, so I had to jump on it, however it is in a little rougher shape than I thought (bought it online...you know how that goes). Below are photos of what I bought. Could someone help me out with what the heck I'm actually missing? I believe the front body mount is wrong, and I am also missing the rear body mount as well. The body that the guy gave me I dont even see how it will fit, so I need one of those as well. Is there anything I need to look out for with this kit? On the plus side, The vast majority of it looks like it is in great shape, and it came with A TON of extra parts. One more question....do you all think this worth fixing up to run with her, or should I sell it and look to purchase something more modern (I'm pretty sure Santa is bringing her a ARRMA 4x4 Mega SCT  )?

You’ve got the makings of a killer runner. It’s got a stealth which is more durable than the 6 gear transmission. I’d pop out the old radio and esc for a new 2.4 ghz radio and go with a mild brushless motor system. This will allow you to use 2s lipos without burning up the old electronics with the increased voltage. Bodies can be had from eBay. Andy’s still paint some awesome bodies. Ditch the body mounts and use Velcro on the side of the tubs to attach the body.

As for running with your daughter, get another arma with a different colored body. When I ran with my son we had identically set up RC10 T3’s. That way Dad’s wasn’t any faster than his.
