That's a very nice collection of parts. This is going to be good!!

I wonder if the Stinger shares any suspension parts with the Optima series. Just curious.

Good to see you making a start on it Derek, looks like the earlier version with the red shocks. I'm guessing you'll be getting MCI decals? I haven't touched mine since I got it, not sure I even took pics yet.

Nice, should look as good as the Assault when finished. Any chance you could measure the rear torque rod for me? Looks like a similar length to the steering arms.

90mm eyelet to eyelet the way it came off the car. Its alot thicker tho, much bigger eyelets. Looks like 8th scale stuff

Optima rear arms top, Stinger bottom. Same arms, different lower shock positions to allow the "bitchn" HG shock set to work.

Some parts cleaned, not all. Still got front end to do. Chassis is gonna need some work....pretty rough cosmetically

Those A arms at the bottom in the pic look like original Optima/Javelin arms being more rounded off on the edges. The other ones would be Turbo Optima/Salute/Optima Pro.

Does your front bumper have a textured outer surface and no Kyosho logo on the front? Not sure if my bumper is after market or not.

Looking at Bakauata's Stinger thread it looks like they're standard equipment.
