Hi!
Be gentle as this is one of my first posts!
Where is the best place to get parts from? I am currently restoring a Gold Pan A stamp which looks like its fairly complete but I am sure there will be bits I need.
Thankfully I have the tyres as they appear to have gold bullion inside them!

Ebay is Your best chance - Or really spend some time on google using the AE parts numbers.
If You´re looking for vintage parts, be prepared to pay quite a sum. Even the "classic" parts are costly

It depends on what parts on what parts you need and how much you know about them and how vintage you need things to be. Some things like bearings , linkage, diff balls, shock springs and screws are not RC 10 specific and may be available from other places.
Some parts are easy to get and even available on RC10.com. I was able to get a shock tower pretty easy.
Some of the o-rings in the original shocks are similar to the o-rings on fuel injectors. Though it may be better to just buy new modern shocks that fit. I am trying to find one myself.
Other parts, may be quite challenging as noted.
Some forum users here have come up with ways of making new parts from broken old ones.
shapeways.com may be helpful as well

If you manage to find some local hobby shop selling Thunder Tiger stuff you might find some hard-to-find RC10 classic re-release parts such as CVA axles or 6-gear idler gears still from the shelves with fairly cheap prices. If they are searchable by Google or in Ebay then you are out of luck.
I think the future for vintage cars is 3D printing. It's so common already that I don't think AE bothers to make another re-release. I guess plastic parts are mostly covered already, but for metal stuff (axles, gears) it's not yet reality,

I have been very disappointed by that
Most folks with anyting rc10 related thinks they're sitting on a gold mine
People are rude, and do not follow up on their commitments
It was a big big disappointments from my side, especially as it was one of the reasons why I joined Facebook again after many years of hiatus

depends on which groups you get into. theres guys out there trying to help but you can only notice their pricing going up as demands grows. As far as rude...thats almost a gimmee anymore with keyboard cowboys never having to backup their words with actual backbone

. I still poop so facebook gets the attention when I do

. Until recently I have been without a computer...again

...so this board gets less attention. Can't stand looking through some of these beautiful builds with a phone screen. Some of this stuff needs the hi res big ass monitor so you really appreciate the details

p.s. yes, I have seen the famous Paul around facebook but was kinda shocked when I did
