In the past they were using the SC10/b4.2 parts for the front , caster blocks I think 25 degree, steering blocks, axles, hex's, bearings etc. You have to drill out the lower hinge pin on the caster block to 1/8 inch. The rear is just a matter of installing a hex adapter but you will need 3/16 axles for the hex's to work. I haven't tried it but custom works makes a hex conversion #CSW7290 from Amain that is said to work also . Hit search and look up hex conversion.
There is also a schumacher conversion as well #SCHU4395. https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=44842

I've used the A&L hex for 1/4" axles a couple times, it does work. It will also require a little finish work to fit snuggly against the axle pin.
- It doesn't leave a lot of thread engagement, so some thread locker wouldn't be a bad idea.
- Several hex wheels don't have enough radial clearance for an 8-32 nut. I put a 4mm serrated nut in the vise and tap it to 8-32, the Dewalt drill/tap bits in an impact make quick work of this.

The SC10 front arrangement is nice, if you can find the axles and correct angle caster blocks. I usually can't, so I've resorted to other options.

1- Traxxas parts, I've only had this work on trucks. With some grinding of the caster blocks and reaming the hinge pins, regulator Stampede/Rustler/Slash parts fit. Even with the material removed, they still have more material than the original parts. I've been pretty rough on this setup without any breakage.

2- Hybrid parts. With some reaming and light grinding, I've used B4 caster blocks with old style 8mm Traxxas Stampede/Rustler steering blocks. You can then use the common Traxxas axles, however I have used Associated Trophy Rat axles with Traxxas steering blocks by using 3X5 shims.

- Note. If you use the 30° caster blocks (most common), you will have a lot of caster and likely have to grind the a arms for clearance. Also, the 8mm steering blocks aren't available new but many long time Traxxas guys will have some laying around.

3- Custom Works conversion kit. I haven't tried it yet but plan on it in the future. From what I've seen, it is likely the best solution with available parts.

You could also 3D print hex adapters but that might only work for the rear. Just a thought.

Here is a pic of my RC10T using the B4.2/SC10 front setup and Associated rear hexs #9892. If you have 1/4 axles with dog bones you can get #9670 axle stubs from amain along with bearings, shims CSW7048, pins CSW7204, red orings 5407. I used JConcepts Mono wheels .
