Yokomo MR4TC SD SSG Question

Hi guys,
New member here and thought I’d join as I’m getting back into the RC hobby after a 15 year break and catching up on what I’ve missed and finding out that all the models I used to race are now classed as vintage has certainly opened my eyes a bit!
On to the question...
I used to have a Yokomo MR4TC SD SSG back in the mid 2000’s that I loved to bits, and saw one on eBay recently so went for it. The chassis has some hairline cracks though it, and I’m treating it more as a restoration project than anything right now. Only problem is, I can’t seem to find the SD-002SSG chassis available anywhere.
Although defeating the object, I was contemplating using the lightweight graphite SD-002MGL chassis to replace it for the time being, but wasn’t sure if it was compatible, which is my question; will it work?
I can’t seem to find good enough pictures of it to properly compare with what I have, so any knowledge and help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
