XX CR Chassis Length

I managed to find a NIP XX CR body and didn't have one, so I went about putting a nice XX CR together.
The first time I used a graphite 'S' or short chassis and the body was way off from fitting.
I have a 'L' or long stamped chassis, so I rebuilt it with that, last night.
I thought for sure the body would fit, but now it's 1cm too long!
Is there a 'M' or medium chassis?
I really want to build this and paint the body, I even have a few NIP decal sheets...

You need the standard chassis which is marked with STD.

Thanks mate.
Dang, all I have is a graphite chassis with 'S; stamped on it and a regular chassis with 'L' on it.

As you probably know, the standard length chassis is the most sought after and therefore the hardest one to find either NIP or in really good used condition. I’ve been waiting for a new standard graphite chassis to show up for some time, but also know that when it does, it’s not going to be cheap.

I thought the standard length would just be stamped 'S'...Every time I buy, or have, the wrong part, for anything, the right part is always more expensive, every time, every fkn' time!

Hey! No problem. That’s great news for you.
Is that a used chassis or a brand new one?

You wouldn't believe this!
So my 100% stock, new built, all plastic, no graphite XX has the 'STD' chassis!
Now I can't decide to either convert that to a XX CR, or to just run with the used chassis.
It did clean up really nice.
Not sure I could mess with this XX, I'll probably leave it as is.
How many new built, early, XX's do you see?

Hey! Looks great - especially with the box art colour scheme.
