The rear stub axle broke on my 35 year old rc10. Googling doesn't seem to turn up anyway of getting hold of a replacement. https://www.associatedelectrics.com/teamassociated/parts/details/6374-ASC6374-rear_stub_axle_with_roll_pin/. Any pointers on where I could find one please?

Edit: I know the likely answer is ebay, but it looks like they come up every blue moon. I guess I am asking for alternatives, are there compatible more easily available axle's? Should I be considering some conversion to a rear axle with more available parts ? Should I be getting a custom part made etc.

I'd just got the thing running again and was having fun with my son. I don't want it to be in the shop for 3 months while I cross my fingers for something to show up on ebay, so looking for a path forward. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There was CVA kit #6369, but that is equally (or even more) difficult to find these days.

For the longest time, someone was selling thorp replacement axles for rc10 and I think they had a boatload of them on eBay.


I don't see them now. I'd grab these without a second thought.

Do you know the part # for the Thorp axle? I've only seen their front stub axles (#4705).
