Re: 85' IFMAR Gil Losi Jr. replica
gonna have to get a hitec 225mg servo. not enough room with 7 cells aid out like this for the vintage futaba. i will probably open up the new servo and soldier the futaba j connectors to the board for a more vintage look
waitn on some parts from Dadio, Pargu, and Spain so this is as far as its going till the parts arrive

Re: 85' IFMAR Gil Losi Jr. replica
That looks so nice , you do have the whole steering system upside down though
the servo saver adjuster should be at the bottom where its really hard to get at instead of conveniently on the top

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Re: 85' IFMAR Gil Losi Jr. replica
Have you fitted the 7 cell battery hold-down that he sends with that chassis, might be a tight fit seeing that your using the Desert Dog rear shock mount/roll bar?

That dogs a bit of a stunner ! Love the choice of tires , are they Scorpion rears all round ?

Re: 85' IFMAR Gil Losi Jr. replica
Got the servo mounted, 2 bodies fitted(843B and Funco),
had to modify the chassis sides at an angle because they hung outside the body....this looks much better anyway.
The other pics had an associated shock on the front for length reasons. I lowered the front shock by lowering the mounting holes which are wider allowing the Delta shock on the front to match the rears. got a Parma bumper coming to try. gonna paint servo mounts black...just havent got around to it

Re: 85' IFMAR Gil Losi Jr. replica
That's a nice tidy install , I never can manage that myself , mine always seem full of coloured spaghetti
, do I spy a smattering of dirt on the wheels now , has it been out for a walk ?
