Wow! After the camera work stabilized, that was a very enjoyable video! The smoothness of your driving is impressive, as is the setup of the car. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you everyone. I posted the video mainly due to my own searches on the web to find 80's to 90's club racing videos or like this one which was the 1991 South-East Off-Road Championships held in Gainesville, Florida, and then realized that I have VHS tapes that other racers had recorded of my races and gave me copies as a gift...so I felt that other RC enthusiasts may enjoy these video's.

The car itself, I still have but it has undergone so much change since then, it isn't worth showing unless I change it all back. Around 10 years ago I converted the car to use the black plastic bleeder screw caps, current servo and brush-less electronics and is currently one of my current racers. If you notice in that video, I was running a gold tub car with MIP shock bodies, and with a black motor plate which back then meant it was most likely my backup transmission. I probably had a gritty diff by that last qualifier, so I installed that backup tranny into the car. Last qualifier for that class and I gave it my best effort.
If you watch it in slow-motion (0.25 speed) you can really enjoy the fantastic suspension the RC10 had and why it was one of the best handling cars since the 80's. I had a little fun and watched it at 0.25 speed, muted and to some 1980's rock band music playing... So good! :D

That's awesome! I love the 90's racing videos. I miss the tracks :( I have fun with the new style and all (I love not having to clean my motor every run) but I really loved the bumpy loose dirt.
There actually isn't THAT much older video floating around. I have some late 90's stuff that I'll just have to upload to YouTube and share too.

With that paint job I’ll hazard a guess that it was Poison playing in the background

1989 Florida State Championships. I was not living in Florida at this time, but would fly in to race sometimes.
