Hello,

New to the forum, been around the past couple few weeks reading what others have done to their trucks.
I wanted to stop in and say Hello and share my project with you all.

I'm a life long RCer mainly trucks, I have a RC10T and RC10GT currently converted to electric.
My GT has been outfitted with every blue aluminium part I could find down to the T-nut on the diff bolt.

I wanted to share my progress of the conversion so here are a few pics of before and after.

This is my parts list, unfortunately my old Futaba Magnum 2pl had to be replaced, updated with a Spektrum DX3 w/SR315.

Nice job. are you going to run the truck now? I'm curious on how you like it vs. it's nitro version.

Cool project! That is a lot of aluminum on that truck. Did you get the aluminum parts back in the day? Is it GPM parts?

I too am curious to see how you like driving it compared to the nitro. I would expect it be be faster now, but that isn't everything.

Thanks for sharing. Paint looks good.

to secure the battery box I used 4 RPM rod connector ends. I cut the ball off used it as a 2way nut. Came up threw the bottom with a short screw half way and down half worked out ok. Originally I had it double side tape but everything stuck to it and it fell off so I came up with this alternatively.

Yes the alum. upgrades I got mostly on ebay they were done over time back in the day. It's a mixture of parts Yea maybe GPM also Trinity along with other manufacturers, I forget it's been to long.

The listed electronics is way slow compared to my .18 os engine. I clocked my nitro at about 40mph with a 15 tooth pinion and 65t spur. the electric setup goes about 30mph tops with a 19 tooth pinion and 65t spur. This setup are weak for my liking, it's good for a kid or beginner. I've since bought a ARRMA Big Rock v3 and absolutely love it.

Down the road when I upgrade my Big Rock to 4S I'll put the 3S from it in my GT, that should make it go better!
