Short Course to Monster Truck?

I don't have a local hobby shop anymore so things like this are harder.
I have an old sc10 4x4 that runs on 12mm hex's.
Will a set of new monster truck wheels and tires bolt on and fit? are there any considerations I need to worry about?

I haven't done that swap personally, but I would recommend using 2.8" MT wheels just to make sure there are no clearance issues. Maybe just some of those more gnarly SCT tread patterns might give you the fix you are looking for?

Thanks for the advice. It sounds like if I bolt on 2.8MT wheels it should work and give me more of the big tire basher I am looking for.

The Proline Monster Fusion body lets you use 2.8" wheels/tires without having to cut the fenders of a regular SC body.

Then just pick out your choice of tires and you're ready to go.
Not a necessary item, but might be something you're interested in.
