Original Optima hand cut carbon

I think ive scrounged up enough bits for 2 optimas, the assembled one has hand cut pieces as this was well pre ReRe,
Laser z x-5 wheels etc.
Spent ages cutting carbon bits up to suit
Lost passion in it when i realised these parts are available off the shelf.
Jeff Malar supplied me with a custom cut mid mounted conversion kit to play with, and ive scored a few sets of belt conversions (old) keep you posted.

Did you cut that top deck yourself? If yes, very impressive. I've fabricated some of my own carbon fiber parts like shock towers and other bits, but nothing that ambitious. :lol:

Yep, all cut and filed, took a while and i appreciate how tough the carbon is, went through a few files.
I scanned the parts first on a high resolution scanner, then printed off copies to use as templates.
Found a local performance car here in NZ that fabricates parts and bought some offcuts.
