Modern RPM Worlds Shocks?

Does anyone have any suggestions for modern shocks that are the correct length for an RPM Worlds cars or I guess NIX91?

I’m building and RPM worlds runner and I’d like to find some shocks that are tuneable, great quality and readily available in the UK.

I generally run Tamiya 54028 aeration shocks on most of my race cars, they have proved to be really nice but too short for the front of this car I suspect unless I buy two sets to run rears on the front with limiters, this would be a considerable outlay.

You might also consider a Quadra shock tower.

I am building a car with the RPM style, Klein arms. I plan on using that front tower with buggy length shocks.

Thank you for the thought.

I’m just up the road from Fibre Lyte and have a great relationship with them so a modified front tower is always an option but thanks to Jeff I have new matching CC RPM shock towers for it and I’d really like to use them if I can find the right new shocks.

Perhaps, just use a longer shock shaft. Then add external limiters to prevent bottoming the pistons.

The original RPM front used 10T front shocks. The front shocks on mt RC10T measured 85mm fully extended, from the mounting bolts.

I was thinking about using rears with internal limiters but either way your measurement helps, thank you very much 👍

A while ago when looking at RC10 shock alternatives I took a few measurements.
I saved this chart for future reference. Measurements were for the Associated big bore V2 12mm shocks.
Eyelet to eyelet with short lower eyelets, long lower eyelets add about 2 additional mms.

I only wish I had bought several sets early on as an Ebay "chop shop" sold me the first 2 complete sets ( fronts and rears with springs, eyelets, multiple spring cups, etc.) for $38 a set.

It looks like most modern truck shocks are close and would possibly work with limiters. T6.1 seem to measure 88mm front and 107mm rear bolt centre to bolt centre.
