Any gear diff magicians?

I'm a ball diff guy through and through but my latest purchase (T4.1) came with a gear diff of all things

I've never driven a 2wd car with a gear diff that I've liked so far .... sooooo....

Anyone who really has a handle on car tuning know what oil would give a similar feel to a ball diff? At least a "starting" point (for mod) with oil in which you don't overpower and drive through the diff in the corner but not so stiff that the car doesn’t turn either.

Is there any initial settings in the manual?

The T4.1 manual I have doesn't show the gear diff.... The RTR manual might?

Yeah I looked too. The rtr shows them adding associated black grease. Looking a little farther, I saw a few threads on the internet and someone said 50k diff fluid is what most people run in a t4. 2 gear diff. That would be my start.

I suppose it's also similar to an sc10, wonder what that manual says.

The consensus that I read was somewhere between 3k - 7k. I assume that's the standard 4 gear though.

50K just seems way to thick, but without feeling their set up I couldn't say for sure.

I had a bottle of Kyosho 5000wt so I shot the middle and went with that, feels good but we'll see how it goes....
