New to the lioo piece and I’ve got a question. I recently picked up a zeee 5000 mah 100c 2s battery. I’ve also picked up a cellmeter-7 digital battery capacity checker. It lists one cell at .033v and the other at 7.54.

This cannot possibly be correct, can it?

I don't believe that's possible. Max volts per cell is a about 4.2v. 7.54v or 3.77 per cell is on the low side of a storage charge. 3.83-3.84 being an ideal storage charge per cell.

I would agree, if one cell is over 7v it would have already spontaneously combusted

Making the transition from nicad/nimh baterries to lipo can be confusing and seemingly complicated and the horror stories will only serve to raise the blood pressure even more. The best advise I could give, is to invest in a decent charger. I use an Ultra Charger UP100AC Plus. Cost me about $60. There are plenty of other ones on the market with a similar price and features. It will make charging, discharging, and proper storage setting a breeze. Plus they will charge pretty much any type of battery

I picked up a Tenergy TB6B which seems to do everything I need. It had great reviews on Amazon and the price was similar to yours. I really didn’t want to go cheap on something so important.

I've had an iMax B6AC (the one you can plug into a standard 120V outlet) for years and although it has worked well enough, the menu button presses are kind of unintuitive and always seem to get on my nerves. It does the job just fine, though. I have recently read and seen a lot of glowing reviews on the ISDT 608AC charger and bought it several weeks ago, I like the way it functions MUCH better. The LCD menu is much better (and not just a rather tiny LCD two-line readout like the iMax B6) and easier to navigate...you just push in the wheel and rotate it, then push again to navigate your options. I'd highly recommend it for a good budget charger with a much higher-quality feel than the iMax.

Lipo's are very easy and nothing to worry about with a decent charger and once you know how to use them. 99.9% of lipo disasters are from neglect or improper use.
