Jrx-Pro Runner

So I want to get my son into racing so I'm letting him take my 22. I decided to break out my parts bin, pick up what I'm missing from various sources and see if I could build a good runner. I'm happy with the progress. I grabbed an older body. It fits width wise, but is cut short near the back, but I can live with it. I have a new body to paint up for it once I settle on a paint scheme (modern or a duplicate of my old one).

I picked up the j-concepts 2.2 front rims that take the bearings... Works great, and I converted the rear to run 12mm hex so I have 2.2s on all 4 corners

I'm going to run a 27 turn stock brushed set up at first for fun but eventually put in a Trinity D4 17.5t.

Part of the reason for the brushed set up is I was able to find the motor I used to race with back in 1990/1991. Best motor back then.

Still have to clean it up, I'm going to replace the screws and turnbuckles as I need to. I'm hoping to get my hands on the hot trick aluminum front bulkhead as well and I have a set of 22 big bores to put on it once I get some bleeder screws.
One interesting piece was in my sourcing, I came across a parts car and it had aluminum shock towers. I had never seen them, but they're really nice. No idea who made them, but still.
