B6.1 drag car conversion

I have a B6.1 Factory Lite that was was going to do some clay track racing with. Well once the car was done I took it to the track I'd have been racing at only to find my hand eye coordination wasn't what it was it used to be. After that it went on the shelf where it's been ever since. Fast forward to now I've taken an interest in no-prep drag racing and thought this car would be the basis for my build. So what I'm looking for is some direction on doing the conversion.

You might want to check around first.

Most no prep class rules are based around 2wd short coarse trucks.

If your local stuff is more of a "free for all" atmosphere, that's different.

From what I've read so far it's short course wheelbase with the buggy width.

any width as long as the tires are covered by the body, the narrow buggy arms lets you use narrow bodies while the standard SC arms use the wider bodies....................
