Whats the best way to clean these up without ruining them? Are they Clorox Safe?

you may use sand paper and very gently sand the edges, use a pipe cleaner to clean the holes with WD40

I found a short soak in simple green really gets them clean. Take a dremel with a small sanding drum around the edges to restore the nice white edges.

For me, a dremel is a little to aggressive.

I always wind up chewing a big chunk out of something. I just use a fine sandpaper.

Thanks Guys. Thats good info. But Im with Rich on the Dremel. I ALWAYS start out telling myself I'll be REALLY careful "this time", then.....

Oh well, maybe this will get me where I wanna be.
Thanks again everyone.

I have some fibreglass parts that will not clean up how I would like so I am going to have a go at dying them black. Can any body tell me the best way of doing this.

Just clean them as much as possible and sand the edges lightly so they are flat and open pored.
Then dye as normal.
Boil water
Add liquid dye or dye powder and salt
Wait till it's all dissolved
Add the parts
Keep checking the parts until the required colour is reached
Run under cold water to remove excess dye and set colour
The end...
