Hey all,
I am fitting one of my cars with rc10b4 caster blocks. I drilled out the caster block and the original pins work on that. Now I am looking at how the steering block is attached and I need a kingpin.

When I look at the instructions the part number is 9622 for the associated pins. They are skinnier than the older rc10 pins. I found the length in another post here of .915" What diameter are they? How are they secured? They don't seem to be grooved or threaded. I looked up the manual and it seems that they are secure by friction and hope.

Is there an inexpensive source for them?

They are held in by small 2-56 button head screws which screw into a small hole parallel to the the hinge pin. The screw head prevents them from coming out. The hinge pins are a smaller diameter so they won't fit into an older car.

Ah So I will also need some of these 2-56 button screws to make this work. the screw head being a retainer makes sense.
