Gun Room almost done

Yet another "happy place in Steve-topia" pretty much finished πŸ™‚ the gun room is about done. Only ones not on the new wall I built are a new tactical 12g which I'll be picking up from my FFL Mon/Tues & the home defense one which stays next to the bed. Everything is not only nicer looking in the new area, but nice and secure behind steel dead bolted doors, blocked off window, and also have a bunch of trigger locks on the way so that the only gun usable without being unlocked will be the home defense 12g I keep with me.
I dunno if I'm an introvert whom hardly leaves home because Steve-topia is such a cool place....or if Steve-topia is such a cool place because I'm an introvert whom hardly leaves home. I dunno, chicken or egg I guess. Introverts unite!....alone, in your own home, away from me

Being in the state of Illannoy I can only wish for something like this room... especially since my boating accident where I lost most of my 2A collection to the depths of the Mississippi.

That is nice gun room. Do you plan to have your RC cars in there too? Or is it a separate space in the garage?

Sorry for the delay in replying, been pretty sick for the past few weeks and just now getting caught up on things now. I have an area for my Rc stuff. Basically I turned my entire basement level into my workshop/hobby level. I run a custom fishing rod business so I do my work on that in there as well as my Rc stuff, 3D printing, guns and other hobbies. I've got the Rc stuff and work area on the opposite end as the gun area. Here's a few pics.

Well, new mods to the gun wall in the room. Plus a new toy. Picked up an Ar15 , have wanted one for years but finally with the rod business being so good this past year, I decided now was the time. So about done building my new baby girl, an AR15 556 with red dot AT3, 86degree grip, utg fore end, weapon light, and waiting on Hogue butt stock and finger grip as well as 3x magnifier for the red dot (fed ex SUCKS). Also added on 4ft to the "gun wall" which made room for my knives. Nothing high dollar, but all my knives are very sentimental, most owned by my Dad (passed in 1996) and both my grandpas with couple of the knives probably around 100 yrs old.

Fed ex finally got the last of my parts for the new rifle to me so quick pic of my new baby all done. Just finished installing the last of the parts (3x magnifier/Hogue butt stock and rubber finger groove grip and Tacticon flared magwell grip and rail covers). I didn't realize it till today but I guess my OCD also inadvertently applies to my firearms as well, my Glock matches my rifle

That's a Winchester Centennial 66, 30/30 lever action. It was given to my Dad by my Mom on their 2nd wedding anniversary in 1966. My Dad gave it to me a year before he passed in 1996. It had never been shot when he gave it to me, I'm the only one to ever put rds through it. I don't have any kids of my own, and at 50yrs old never will, but I have it in my will that it gets passed down to my Nephew when my time comes.

Picked up a new addition to the family the other day. I didn't really need another 12g, but I have always wanted a bullpup, and the price on it was just too good to pass up!
