Agreed. The four bearings in rear carriers should be the only difference.
If you have a pre-made bearing kit for the re-re Worlds and want to use it on the original Worlds, you'll have four extra 3/16"x3/8" unflanged bearings and be short four 1/4"x3/8" flanged bearings. Eight if you count the four flanged bearings needed for the steering bellcranks which should be replaced from the get-go. Bronze bushings against nylon plastic is not a good idea.
I have an original CE 6-gear to rebuild. Ive trolled through the user manual but it doesnt really explain which bearings to use except a couple. i want to replace all the bushings with bearings,

Thanks again as always for the suggestions

Yes, that's 4 more. That's why I buy 100 of them at a time... for $40. You can replace them as needed without going broke. Tamiya used 5x11 and 5x8 in almost all their 1980s releases (at least the ones that I have owned) and Traxxas did/does as...
I am building my first B4.1 kit since my gold pan days. It does not say what side to put the ball diff adjustment screw on. I'm guessing it will be easier to access on the spur gear side so I don't have to deal with the motor in the way.
Anyone have...
