Gen 1-4 Traxxas racing trucks parts Q&A

Howdy, so I acquired a TRX-T Eagle with a Blue Eagle trans upgrade. My current thought(s) on the matter is/are:

Runner with a mix of vintage and modern/still available/compatible/equivalent parts.....

Like a TRX-SRT-T Condor or something. No Blue Falcons though.

Question: anybody know the dimensions/equivalency of the TRA 2531A Drag Slash HD Front Suspension Arms to the SRT? The part number is the same but just wondering.

Thanks

Are the early plastic idler gears (#1996) strong or are they fairly weak?

IIRC there was a white and black version of the idler. For some reason, I remember the black ones being more durable. But to tell you the truth, I never had an issue with the white ones. But I was a stock motor club racer kid.

Are you refering to the 30-T Idler GearMachined Aluminum (PN TRA1996X) ?

The original nylon idler. But yes there is also the X series aluminum.
