For a vintage RC10 that I could run or even shelf, I think that the Jconcepts Rips and Double Dees look like a good alternative.
The Hazard wheels are fairly ugly in my opinion, so not for me.
I've got a couple sets of jelly beans and I don't want to glue them.
The original wheels inserts don't fit the Jconcepts tires.

So I am curious.

Could a 3d printed "Jconcepts tire to jelly bean wheels adapter things" be an answer or even feasible?
Or am I alone in thinking this could be a solution?

Is it just the inserted bead lock ring that does not fit the jconcepts tire?

Tamiya Hornet rears fit and there are several different fronts on Ebay.

I have gotten a rear Double Dees with the original AE inner ring to somewhat fit.
The ring is really tight at the tire/wheel bead area. Lubricating with WD40 helped.
The other problem is the flat smooth outer surface of the ring allows a foam insert to wander all over the place.
Also an inner ring, an integral part of the larger ring, of smaller diameter to locate outer portion might help.
Yeah I know this sounds a bit confusing. I'll see if I can do some sort of mock up.

Starting with the rears...









The inner ring would locate the adapter on the wheel.
The outer ridges should keep the foam inserts from moving side to side. Foams might need to be sectioned for smaller diameter rims.

Really just trying to establish if these may be feasible or even interesting.

Too thin for printing? What would be the minimum thickness? Suggested material?
Just a concept so far.

Looking at the picture if I had measurements I could print it easy enough , might be a bit trial and error to get right .
