Best current generation shocks to fit RPM Worlds arms RC10

Hi team,

I'm looking for a little help on this. I want to put some latest generation shocks on my RPM Worlds arms runner. It looks however, that most of the front shocks are going to be too short. The RPM kit (7077/7079) uses 1.02 shocks in the front and 1.32 bodies with 1.02 shafts in the rear. I'm hoping that I'm not the first person to go down this route, does anybody out there know what current gen shocks will line up in terms of length and stroke?

Thanks!

Dave

Apparently I didn't use the search function properly as a couple posts on this came up after I hit go, but nothing definitive.

Does anyone out there know the actual secret recipe for this? Thanks!

The truck shocks are usually the right thing. 1.02 front and 1.32 rears.

Some of the newer shocks are shorter bodies in the rear (1.18). After that all the big bores went metric.

Short course or stadium truck shocks should be fine. As far as I know, most are approximately the same length as earlier truck shocks.

If there is a place of concern, it'd be the rear shocks. Some of the newer rear shocks are a little longer, which would slightly limit compression when used on a buggy.

If using AE shocks, this might help.
