RC16? Because I like Mini Scale...

I dont know if I will follow through on this or if it is just a 3d modeling exercise, but I have been modeling RC10 parts and trying to translate them to 1/16 scale. I do not have any front arms anymore apparently so I had to find some parts on yeggi (the grey ones).

In the picture is the model next to the parts I have modeled for the Mini Jrx2 to give you size scale. I would love to find a graphite chassis and some actual front arms to model.

HECK YEAH!!!! I'd be down to buying one, heck I'd buy 2 if you made them. Freaking cool!

We will just have to see how it goes. I have pondered making some bucks and trying to squish a chassis with my hydraulic press.

I fiddled around with the chassis I downloaded, it looks nice, but I still want a real og chassis in hand to get the model right, you will also notice the battery box is taller in the cup and bulkhead, this is same height as Horizon made the Losi battery compartment, seemed like a good option.

Have the other printer out of the closet grinding away again making more prototypes...

the tiny battery box is precious :o

I think it is pretty sweet myself. :)

Got a chassis printed wheeee, I need to mess with my support settings on this computer as they are not coming off like they did this weekend heh.

Looks like it’s coming along nicely, what’s the plan for the trans internals ? Seeing short front arms so I’m guessing 6 gear, correct ?

Trans will externally look correct but internally likely be off the shelf. I don't have any precision machining tools :)

Short arms is because I have no other models to use or full size ones to model. A graphite should be long arm.

....but a TQ10 is a short arm.

That's coming along nicely, there are short front arms on Thingiverse , in Cura you can scale things , then just drill to fit the hardware , bit of a shortcut , or upload them into Fusion and modify them properly .

The TQ10 chassis isn't too different from the more common version of chassis for the RC10 Graphite.

Maybe your thinking of the rare 'coffin' chassis RC10 Graphite.

Oh yes it was the TQ 10 chassis I was mentioning because of its hard sharp corners, it is like an alternate universe rc10 graphite... from the same universe lol

It would not be hard to mod the chassis I have into a quasi TQ 10, just need measurements. But I will worry about that when the rest of the parts are done. :)
