B3 Conversion Kit etc.

I picked up a NISB B2-B3 conversion kit #9023 that I found deep within a hobby store's inventory.. (along with a pile of B2, B3, T3 parts). I couldn't find many pictures of #9023 here, but a few of #9022.
When the box says Graphite Conversion Kit does this mean this has a carbon chassis, or does it still have the "molded composite chassis" of the B2?
Lastly, who makes the best "authentic looking" B3 body and suitable OEM style tires for the 2.2" wheels included? I see JConcepts has one..
Wondering if I should break the seal and apply this B3 conversion to my fully stock B2...

There is more value in it sealed long term, but you bought so do whatever you want with it. It's likely that in the pile of parts you bought, there are enough pieces to make the conversion without that kit.
Not sure what you mean with the chassis. Are you talking about a molded composite vs a flat plate? All b2/b3 are molded, but they can have carbon or glass (composite)fibers.
Jconcepts has original mold b3 bodies and the right 2.2" wheels.

Personally, if you have a B2 and want a B3, I would just buy a B3. I've been keeping my eye out for a reasonable priced B2 just because they're a bit unusual. A lot more B3 buggies out there.

Thanks.. what oddities do B2s have?
Perhaps I'll keep the B2 as-is and just keep the conversion kit.. the B2 runs just fine.

B2's are harder to find because they were very short lived, and lots of them were upgraded or partial b3s over their lifetime

I see. Thanks -- I think I'll keep my B2 a B2.

Personally, I'd keep it a B2 if it were me. I also keep an eye out for a reasonably priced B2.
