i got these 3 peice alluminum/ plastic wheels what are they how old are they are they rare?

Rear aluminium ones are Losi RPS, not that rare in that condition, fronts are plastic Pro-line halves (chromed) with Tamiya inside halves...

Asso_man! is right about the rears but I am pretty sure wrong about the fronts as they don't look right to be Prolines or plastic.

I believe the fronts if they are Aluminium are going to be Thorp/Dirt Burners (CRP/Parma also shared this branding sometimes but am not sure if they released this product) due to the lip configuration...

Yep the pics are rubbish...

I just made a judgement from what he said, the lips on the rims and where they are dented the chrome isn't chipping. They are to dull to be chrome anyway....I like looking at duff wheel pics as that's how I found one set of my Tecnacrafts and other alloys too...

they are for sure alluminum not plastic (i'm not retarted lol) and def. has 1/4 axles did losi have 1/4 axles? the rear are neat that plastic peice in center of rim threads onto axle than the nut threads on and i dont think they are in bad shape at all (not new condition but excellent used condition)

You would be surprised to find how many people beleive the CRP chromeplated plastic wheels to be aluminum. It's quite possible that the front you have were made by RCH

Anyway you can tell they were made by RCH? I thought the RCH had much finer machining than these...

they sure do feel like alluminum (i just went and checked again lol) i wish they were 3/16 axles than i could use them

You surely can use HPI adapters and mount them on virtually any car...

You can drill the center hole on the rears to 3/16"... we used to do that to use the older wheels on the newer axles.

maybe thats what i will do they came on a terminator i just got they look real cool would look awesome on a rail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard to tell from the blurry pics. Now that i look closer at them, they may be race prep. here are a set of race prep wheels I have for the Ranger XLT

yours have 4 screws Jim, his have 5 and bolt to stock Tamiya front inside halves...

your right. what I was mainly pointing out was the shape of the dish and lip of the wheel which were uniquely race prep. Race prep also made aluminum covers for the SRB 1.5" sized wheels.
