Trinity EX Tech Experimental motor - purple can?

The Trinity EX Tech Experimental motors usually come with grey can and endbell and golden brush setup.
I got a different version with purple can and endbell and silver brush setup.
The label is exactly the same as with the other version.

I tried to find specs or infos on this version but struggle so far.
Someone have seen such motor before or maybe have a Trinity catalog showing such?
Timeframe should be 1992 or later.

BTW I think this is not a fake motor.
I bought this motor long ago where fake labels were not around.
Also the motor is brandnew never used.

It could be a genuine label put on a nice motor because someone liked how it looked. The labels are still available if someone wanted to do that with a motor. Its possible this is what has happened with this motor.

I found this:

But I think that they were available in multiple winds.

I bought that motor many years ago, not now.
But beside the sticker, I also don´t know that purple can and endbell.

I own that EX0114 motor.
That´s the one with gray can and endbell and golden brush setup.

It looks like a speed gems opal motor with different label.

I have no clue if that motor is a true EX Tech or not.
But I like the look anyway.

Is it something that is so desirable or rare that someone would go through the trouble of putting a label on a different motor?

I'd venture that is probably just a production change over some kind of nefarious activity.

Can you pull the armature and see if it has markings?

I have one of those labels on a different motor. However, I chose it because it matched the purple heatsinks of the GM Racing endbell.

I have a few motors with labels chosen for such a reason, but I always choose ones that are obviously of a different manufacturer. Nobody will (shouldn't be) fooled by a Trinity label on a GM motor or a Kyosho label on a TOP motor, etc..

But you could find GM labels on Trinity/Epic or HPI cans.
Or even certain Kyosho cans. But those are super rare because they were prototype or team motors and never went to the public.
