Just a heads up, I'm sure we all have older RPM and Lunsford ball cups rattling around somewhere. For 4.3mm ball studs there are the 3racing brand ones, some HPI ones, but with Lunsford shuttering ops....anyway I stumbled across some 4.3mm with M3 threads in Ti by "reveD". I think they are "meant" to be for a Yoke drift car buy they seem to have been added to most inventories relatively recently. They are back-ordered almost everywhere but they are not discontinued!

"reveD" google it.

Custom Works, Schumacher, ECX, and CRC.

Those are all 4.3mm balls but Schumacher is the only M3 thread. The others are 4-40.

Good to know thanks!! The reveD were the only ones I found definitive dimensions clearly presented in a schematic type diagram...I got so excited...anyway

OK so I know I am overthinking this, but I am hung up on a definitive manufacturer of known 4.3mm ballstuds with M3 threads of various lengths with standard and low-pro balls. What I am running into is a lack of published dimensions regarding ball diameters.

Schumacher? All Schumacher? I've seen the Avid ones but I don't want black and look a little tall in the ball for the inboard camber and steering links. What about 4.3 ball nuts? I'm looking for options and I really appreciate your input. Thanks for taking the time.

I have bought Schumacher ball studs from different series, all fit my Associated, RPM, and Custom Works cups fine.

I don't know of anyone offering a female threaded version in 4.3mm right now.

Tamiya has a "5mm" female that works nicely with 4.8mm cups. It also uses M3 threads.
