Harder for someone to steal your car.
Those old school kill switches were always fun.
I also don't have to worry about the battery getting drained when not in use.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Installed a Panda Parts rear stabilizer on my shelf hornet. Dubiously useful, but... bling, I guess.

Slammed up some electronics. Wing is a rando. Don't tell anybody but the wing wire is from a coat hanger...

29mhz Rx? That seems unusual. Is the ESC a Yokomo unit?

29MHz was used in Australia, and probably other parts of the world... we didn't have access to the 72/75MHz bands.

eBay'd the Rx. It's a Polaris from the period. Realized when I opened the box....red antenna wire...29Mhz..oh well. Somebody musta used them, or they wouldn't have made them. But at the same time, maybe why I was able to find it so easily. I don't think they are that popular in the 29...

ESC is an LRP Indy 600. Pushing the period correct thing but....best I can tell is it was released '96-'97. It's straight out of my T3 from bitd.

Edit: b-b-b-but yeah, what Alex said...
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Soldered up some motor leads. Black Dean's mini pins. When did those hit the scene anyway? I'm shooting for late '96. Probably should have a different motor, but I can't give it up...

Spent the morning finishing up prep work on what I think is the last of the parts I need for my Bullet build. Well, last of the mechanical parts at least.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.
