Hi! Do anyone know the if I can find a blueprint for the turbo inferno chassis. I don’t have the original. I’ve been trying to find any aftermarket chassis for this model but without any luck. Figured i could probably order a custom carbon fiber chassis if I had the blueprint.

/J

And I realized that I don’t necessarily mean a blueprint “pice of paper” Maybe more like a 3d printable stl-file…

I remember in 2006 I bought a turbo inferno chassis from those guys

http://www.jaracing.com/

Try them, it was made on order by them.

Thank you! I’ll check if it’s still possible

This is the graphite chassis I have on my Turbo Inferno. It is basically the same shape as a stock chassis. You could do the same if you got a piece of graphite sheet.

I thought about that but figured I would just mess it up.
Is it easy to work with or do i need like special precision tools for it to look good ?

I think you would want to have someone cut it for you with a CAD program. But the dimensions can be taken straight from a stock chassis. No need to incorporate the side bends of the stock chassis, as the Duratrax chassis I have doesn't do so.

If you wanted to do it by hand, it is certainly possible. I would suggest bolting the stock chassis to the graphite sheet using several of the chassis holes, and then cut around the chassis and drill all the corresponding holes. It won't be fun, but certainly doable.
