Hello and hope everyone is doing good. I wanted a car stand that didn't have a large foot print and had to be easy to move. Bottom is a Bar Stool seat and the rest is 1x3's. I am not a carpenter or wood worker by any means and to be honest I am terrible at both so it amazes me that these came out fairly straight. Its all air nailed and glued added some reinforcement to the shelves and base also added a stiffener to the back turned out decent and is very rigid. I used contact cement and tool box drawer liner for a little padding to set the cars on. Also have a excuse now to build another car as the one shelve is empty.

Oh wow, that looks great! :D

I made something very similar a few years ago -- made 4 of them actually. The small footprint makes it convenient to set them in a corner where nothing else will fit.

After they were finished, I decided that the bottom car sat too close to the floor so I went back and added a 12" high pedestal as shown in the photo. The stand is screwed to the pedestal which also makes the stand more stable.
