Tower and Horizon is taking preorders but they don't provide ETAs.

Anyone heard when these are due to arrive?

I have one on Pre-order from Tower, just said estimated in March when I looked the other day. Kinda Vague....but atleast they don't charge until it is available to ship.

Same here. I resisted pre-ordering until a fellow TC member reminded me about Tower's payment policy. Also, I used a discount code to reduce the cost.
So, now we wait.

It will be interesting to see where Tamiya takes this new platform. Could a BB-01-based old school stadium truck be next?

Tower now says "Next shipment June 2023".

If that's accurate, I actually don't mind. I'm deep into a custom 934 build and it might be finished when the BBX arrives.

As far as RC builds go, I'm definitely beginning '23 at a much slower pace than '22. Not sure if it's finances, life or if I'm just not interested in what's being offered these days. Maybe all of the above.

I do have a big-tire truck build planned that will use the new Traxxas Chevy K10 body - so I have that to look forward to later in the year.

Yeah the delivery date definitely changed....no rush here either. Been going through some of my B4's and T4's and refurbishing them. That'll keep me busy for awhile.
