Has anyone had a team truck with rear suspension 3 degree mounts lime the 2nd picture? I was just curious because I'm piecing one together and have both style mounts.

Thanks!

There were several versions of the 3 degree arm mounts.

Thanks. These must have mainly been on 7035 team trucks because my 7001 rc10t has the mounts like picture 2 but in zero degrees and my 7011 c stamp has rear mounts like picture 2 but are black and 1.5 degrees I believe.

The top pictured rear suspension mount is the first generation HD (Heavy Duty) suspension mounts. They were available in three degree and zero degree, in white and black. They actually brake kinda easily at the mounting screws. The bottom pictured mounts are original design, available in Zero and one and a half degree. Zero available in white, and one and a half available in white and black. There is also a second generation HD mount that is 3 degree and only in black (stronger than the first generation HD, came standard on the RC10T2).

Thanks Mark. Between the 2 above in white does the original end up being stronger than the HD due to the HD breaking at the mounting screws? Im wondering if its because the hinge point had too much plastic and flexes less causing more stress at the mounting screws?

In my experience the original suspension arm mounts have been more durable. I just use the the white HD version on display vehicles.

Also found a variation when i bought a single universal to replace a bemt one that I had. The newer universals at the end of production on the team truck didnt use that collar at the end where the joint of the dogbone/axle is. Picture attached.
