that underchassis looks good, feels like I should be giving my T the same treatment...

Looking forward to the rest of the project.

I'm liking the cut-outs. Was that the same chassis as in the first pics? It looks newer and most of the scratches are gone on the bottom.

Your pics broke my acoustic coupling!!

Hows the torsional stiffness? T2's are real nuggets hey, mine was about 150 grams over legal weight last time I checked. Although these days the best way to reduce the weight is to simply put a lipo battery in.

thanks for the compliment! its not the same chassis, this is a new one that was butchered.
.

thanks for the comments everyone! there was way more pics before, i kept the best ones and made them a little smaller.

do you guys also still have the laptops that use a joystick rather than a mouse? :P
(mine actually does have a joystick rather than a mouse its pretty old but i actually like it better)

here is the area i want to fix or cover up. im thinking about putting a colored plastic film over it... maybe i could say that it serves a purpose because it makes it easier to see if it flips over. im not sure what i will do any suggestions? as far as colors im thinking the original factory powdered coated chassis colors, as a throw back or ode to the "good old days" or as if to pay respect or something like that. haha.

:edit: i want to stay away from the faux woven graphite film, because this project is of an rc10t2 grudging against the newer carbon composite creations. hehe. but it will have woven graphite towers. or is it called carbon fibre i always mix them up.

comments, suggestions, jokes welcome! :D

Sorry to see you cut up a perfectly good T2 chassis, assuming it was the NIB one you had for sale.

Still, 12 blurred pictures sums it up...

   =]

this chassis i actually got in lot of parts, and it was already cut how it is. when i saw it in the pics i thought i really had to have it for a shelfer. except for the front they almost went overboard, the paper tape in the first pic showed what they had PLANNED on doing with the front, and they started on it a little bit. i think if they wouldve followed through the front end would be waaay to weak.
