Very impressive but where's the headliner? ...and, no power windows??

Seriously, I've been a subscriber to his youtube channel for a while now and he often features some amazing RC's - many of which are WAY outside my budget.

Also, I didn't know the Skyline was AWD.

Anyway, thanks for posting the video. :D

I watched the linked video again yesterday.
I know this will seem a bit trivial but, a few years ago I bought a NIB Monogram 1/8 scale Corvette collectors edition (paid WAY to much for it  ) with the plan to make it RC. ...certainly, nothing as elaborate as the Capo model featured in the video.

I've wanted to reproduce the Vettes suspension parts (scratch made and printed) making them functional, install a 540 motor inside the engine block, add LED's, etc., and have something that's very scale accurate to run around on the driveway. The half-shafts in early Vettes' IRS also functioned as radius rods for the rear suspension and they use a transverse mounted leaf spring. The front suspension is typical double A-arm with coil springs. Anyway, I want to try and reproduce the car's suspension as accurately as possible and have a nice display model that also drives.

Long story short, I paid a visit to my pulmonologist on Monday and got a very good report -- no cancer and no more tests, praise God! Maybe there's still time to finish this and a pile of other hobby projects. :D

Thant is excellent news, Doug!! Glad to hear it.
When it comes to the Vette I know exactly how you thinking. I've had plans for well over two decades to do something similar with a GT40 model.

Thank you!

An RC GT40 with accurate suspension would be a challenge but WOW, that would be awesome.
Having seen some of your past projects (the 1/18 scale crawler with hand-fabricated brass tube chassis comes to mind), I think you could create something amazing. :D
