I’ve searched high and low. I’ve seen one post for rims that are pricey but they don’t look right. I’m down to pay but at least they need to look the part…Prefer to buy the rims and wheels together if that is even an option. Any ideas?

Ebay is your best bet or maybe facebook vintage groups until you have bst access and can post a wanted ad here.

Yeah, original chrome plastic TU wheels are hard to find these days since I don't believe they've ever been reproduced. If you're open to something that looks close, you might consider these alloy reproductions from Pargu:

For tires, have a look at Marwan RC. He makes nice looking reproduction vintage Kyosho tires.

Your probably not going to find any bargains however. There aren't many originals available so it's a sellers market.

If u go with the Pargu, then have center section bead blasted, could look authentic and awsemome!

Those are my thoughts as well. Especially with guys finding parts that fit RC10 from places like McMaster and Grainger. I would have never thought to look there.

It would be so easy for Kyosho to re-re the TU since they currently reproduce 90% of the parts needed for that car. Seems like low-hanging fruit to me. Maybe someday.
