I have a RC10GT and I need to get replacement front axle nuts but the manual is not clear on the size I need to get. I can't find them locally so I have to order them, so are they 6-40 or 5-40, the manual shows both as the size.

They are 5-40 but they are nylon nuts. If you are using a metal nut make sure it's not aluminum. It's really best to just stick with nylon. You can use 4-40 nylon nuts from the hardware store

And don't over-tighten them. The threaded section will snap off.
