Anyone have any info about what kind of quantity Kyosho plans to produce here? I thought I read it was going to be a limited run, and seeing as how they are already out of stock everywhere... Amain seems to be expecting more at some point, but details around the campfire seem sketchy. I am wondering if anyone's heard any whispers or even official announcements I may have missed.

I just read that it was going to be limited to 1500 units... no way to tell how many are already gone I suppose.

Got mine yesterday... very very cool. I overpaid for it, but screw it that's what credit cards are for. Im still not sure of my plans; kind of a glut of Fantoms right now ... never thought I'd say that... then again I never in a million years could have predicted 3 re-release versions of this obscure car.

bought one the other day, also got carbon chassis and deck from hkd....looking forward to this build!

Holy crap! What happened that all of a sudden caused these kits to double in price on eBay? They have been sold out on retail shelves for a while now... The ones that have actually sold are cheaper, but it seems like something happened in the last 2 months or so that told these sellers they can now get $800+ for these things. One actually did.

I think I got lucky, as I got the last one available in France two weeks ago (at normal price, in my usual shop).
That was under the tree for Christmas, but build will be later... I still need to build my Tomahawk
