This is the place to discus the: "Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide"

For cleanliness and clarity, it was decided to no longer allow posts to be made in the actual topic itself. The discussion regarding it can be made here instead in this spin-off thread.

This also serves as the place to post any motor specs you may have that are not on the list. They will then be added as necessary.

Team Orion motors maybe are not really vintage. I mean old enough to be vintage.

Some motors aren't listed due to not having the part numbers which is a bit of a requirement. There's still other motors I have the specs and part numbers for but just have to find the time to add them.

Edit: Also, all motors listed are from the '90s or older like the majority of everything else here.

Here's a pink label Trinity Monster Horsepower 1985-87 World Champions motor I tested out today. Motor has some gahones, 38,000+ rpm at 7.2 volts.

I don't see any Trinity Monster Horsepower motors listed in the reference guide. If anyone has info/specs on these motors please share.

Very cool! That's one of these: Monster 1700 Power Series

They came with a small paper sticker dot with a letter on it to identify which motor they are. Most have lost the dot.

I'm actually looking at the same motor myself trying to find the specs. Only thing I've seen is on ebay with no info, though for more than I could have possibly paid in 1990 or so... Don't want to smoke the thing, but trying to revive my old gold pan and have no idea if this will work ok with the hobbywing 1060 I just got or if I'm better off just getting something new and saving the vintage until I know better...

Lowgear, when you have time there’s nearly 2 dozen Team Pit Stop motors listed at the bottom of the instructions that your could add to your guide.

Opened up my old tool box for my car and found that I have the original tag for the trinity, to whatever amount it helps.

"4103 Slotted Brush
2 shunts and new formula for less resistance and more horsepower"

Oh, and $3.50 back then... probably costs more than that to lube it up now.

I'm just seeing this now almost a month later. :?

That's exactly the kind of info I'm looking for, and what this topic was meant for. :) I'll add it sometime today.
