Do you notice any handling differences between the RC10 graphite team car and the RC10 team car with tub chassis (both fitted with white nylon parts throughout)?
I haven't driven either yet. Been a while...greetings all :)

I have both and I think they handle basically the same, but I have not spent dedicated time driving them back to back in any scientific way with identical set-ups on a fixed course.

I recall back in the day when the RC10 Graphite kits first came out (1989?), team drivers ran them for maybe a season and eventually went back to the tub chassis as the team drivers thought the tubs were a bit stiffer. Note the 1993 IFMAR Worlds Champion car used the tub chassis (spawning the #6037 Worlds Car kit) not the graphite chassis. So maybe the tub chassis cars are more consistent handling wise or easier to tune.

I would have thought the tub cars would have more flexibility thus generating more grip and being more forgiving.

Quite likely you are correct. I am going from memory so I may have mixed up the reasoning why the TA drivers went back to the tub chassis.

The graphite cars are lighter weight, and much lighter in the front (just less chassis material and less hardware), and have less on-power steering. The graphite likes a slightly softer suspension and it feels a little more nimble.

I would say the tub chassis has more flex and probably a lot bigger sweet spot for setup
