A few questions...

Hi All,

I got a set of rims like what Jay Halsey used on his 1985 IFMAR winning buggy. What bearings or bearing inserts did he use? Does anyone have a link to where I can get what I will need?

Also, does anyone have a lead on the right tires for these rims?

Also, I have a Novak 1 esc but the decal is spent. I thought I saw reproductions somewhere. Can anyone assist with this too?

I don't have an answer for you but this is the car and wheels in question, right?

ooooo.... I hadn't seen the 7 car before, or at least not in a long time. Looks like he favored Hornet/Grasshopper sized front wheels.

Actually I found the tire for the front. It's a Proline 103-F Sand Scorcher. The wheel is Tamiya. Seems like it was some sort of flanged bearins and an adapter used to fit them to the RC10.I could be wrong on that part though.

HPI also made an adapter set, I have one or two, but can only find the rear adapters online.

Traxxas made some as well. They were for adapting 8mm bearings into 11mm holes, but 5/16 bearings fit 8mm holes perfect.

Instead of dealing with adapters, CRP still makes axles for this.

They fit RC10, trailing steering blocks and have the correct Tamiya axle dimensions. They have standard buggy, wide-track buggy, and truck versions.

Thanks, everyone. Please let me know if anyone has a lead on the front tires.
