Picked up a very rough JRXT I’m working on restoring for a runner and it has a retrofit trans which is cool, but what does everyone do for the rear body mount?

Depending on how low you set the front mount, if you have the 5 link/jrx2 style rear shock tower, just slam the body and use the buggy style center body post on the shock tower

Yeah that’s how the guy I got it from had the body mounted… maybe I just stick with that.

another option might be to hack the top off of some lrm cases and use shoegoo to glue the mount to the top of the retro case. It wont harm the retro case at all and it is strong enough to not be any chance of falling off if you dont want it off and the glue will just peel right off down the road when you want to remove it.

probably very easy to make a duplicate via 3d printer… might make something like this..

I have that kit.. It’s just a small piece of bent Kydex and some hardware.
