Hi All, just after a bit of advise,

is it possible to use other shock shafts and seals in associated hard anodised shocks,

am I correct in assuming that the diameter of the imperial shock shaft will be different to a metric shock shaft and then therefore the orings will be a different size to Tamiya Orings/shock shafts or will it not make a difference, more concerned with potential oil leakage

cheers

Yes, the 3mm (#006) silicone o rings from other shocks work fine.

I have used 3mm shafts instead of the original 1/8" shafts a few times. I didn't have any problems but my cars aren't ran often.

Associated used the same part number for the seals when they switched from imperial to metric.
