So AE posted this on Facebook:

We are attending The SEMA Show this year and using that as the starting point for the pending 60th Anniversary of Associated Electrics (1964) and 40th Anniversary of the RC10 (1984)!

To pay homage to the RC10, we decided to make a special display piece, and since we know you love the SLA prototype race cars we have shown over the years, we decided to make an RC10 version the same way!

Utilizing the RC10 Classic SolidWorks models, we were able to produce crystal clear parts. We kept the chassis, nose plate, motor plates, and shocks silver to give that prototype feel and awesome wow factor.

What do you think? Who would love a display piece like this?

Extremely cool piece, wonder which chassis it is considering I’m pretty sure when you zoom in that’s a stamped noseplate

Bushings in gearbox and front wheels.

So this seems like a good opportunity for AE to offer a special edition buggy.... 8)

I have had some items printed in that clear material and it is extremely fragile. Just installing screws will sometimes crack it out. I seriously doubt they would do it, but if they did I'd buy one haha.

At least they are using black 8-32 instead of the nasty green ones.

Interesting pics from AE’s Instagram.
Are they showing off a real size Jay Halsey RC10 at SEMA?

It needs to have a giant electric motor in back too!

This was a topic on FB also. The molds were allegedly lost or destroyed, hence no more re-releases.

Yep and all along it kinda felt like a lie but I guess now we know the molds still exist
