What classes does your local track run?

It'd be a shame to spend $500 on a car, only to find out that it doesn't fit in any of the local classes.

It's going to depend on what the track is.
Do you live close to a track?
Are you looking for off-road or on road?
Would you be racing on dirt or carpet?

I have heard that 8th scale racing can get quite pricey for replacement tires and spare parts, not to mention track fees. Would you have enough funds left over to pay for those items over a race season?
