Features that you wish most 1/10 scale buggies had

There's a lot of cool features out there in RC that would make setup easier but are often just not on race buggies. Here's a couple I've always wanted:

Droop Screws
Personally I don't understand why 1/10scale buggies almost never have droop screws and instead we have to tear apart shocks to adjust droop, find out it's too much or not enough and then have to do it all over again. Frustrating! Why does my cheap ass chinese 1/12 scale buggy have them but not our 1/10scale high end counterparts?

Steering centering lock (for setup)
Another thing I don't see almost ever is a way to lock the steering link dead center so you can properly adjust toe/camber without having to power the servo/radio on.

What features would you like to see in this scale?

This is one of the features I love about my Durango's

Cab rearward bodies. I can't stand this cab forward crap.

Maybe I grew up with Tamiya but in my mind a 1/10 or whatever scale RC car should look like it could be a real car , it's kind of why I can't stand Truggys or cab forward bodies .

Full carbon or aluminum chassis... there's still too much plastic on the chassis' of most cars.

Hinge bolts instead of hinge pins... e-clips were created by the devil.

Carbon shock towers standard... again, too much plastic.

Three piece wheels... glue sucks.

Couldn't agree more. PITA cutting thin bodies every single time. The only part of the build to royally screw up. Why do the majority of manufacturers require us to STILL cut bodies and wings? Who is making these decisions lol? Do they think we ENJOY cutting wheel wells with sharp objects? One millimeter off cutting a curve or straight line and you have screwed up the look of your machine. Uncut bodies and wings should be an OPTION. Pre-cut bodies should be the norm not the exception.

I would like a manufacturer to include TWO bodies. Marginal cost of adding one more body = Very Satisfied Customer.

There's still new kits with E-clips? most of the new ones i have built are captured style except for the retro kits. The Mini JRX2/T are probably the worst offenders with even smaller E-clips

Three piece wheels would be great. Would love to not have to acetone my used up tires off.

Re-re kits should come with silver can motors and a decal sheet of the popular motors from the period. I realize there would be licensing issues, but it is still doable to some degree. Extinct brands could be included. AE could supply Reedy decals; Kyosho- Kyosho and Trinity, etc. To an RC manufacturer, silver can motors probably cost about $2 each.

Maybe that would ruin the fun for those of you who have done the work to locate and invested time and money to obtain and restore the proper Demon motor for your CAT, but for a lazy bastard like me building runners for his own amusement...

Might not be... could just be nightmares from the ghost of e-clips past 🤪
