does anybody know who made these trailing arms?

they look like one offs based on the finish of th metal and the blocks. I think its safe to say one creative person made them. I like them too.

I really like those. Are the mounting blocks made in a way where there there is toe in or negative camber? Were those on a car that you got...or were they just parts?

Yes, they look like a home brew. There should be a threaded hole on the horizontal flat in the pic right on the other side of where the wheel bearings go. The shock mount sscrew is perpindicular to the axle. I kind of like the way these look better than the old A&L ones.

Looks interesting. Like you can still use the stock hub carrier and maintain the ability to adjust rear camber with a tierod, but I'm not sure how the geometry would work with being tied to two locations like that. Weird.

You can tell Keith is a 1:1 racer.

Probably less like a cranky McPherson strut and more like a regular A-Arm. The biggest downsides of the trailing arm suspension is the lack of camber gain control/adjustment as well as rear toe-in with the fixed mounting points. You basically got what they gave you and if it didn't work for your track conditions, well that's just too bad.

Another thing we all used and then realized that they sucked and went back to A-arms. LOL. If we knew then what we know now...



I would like to see those mounted up, though. You could still retain rear roll center and camber gain adjustments, just no toe-in. Would be odd with two intersecting radius arcs on perpendicular planes, though. More like the 5-link JRX2 rear setup.


Might be why we've only ever seen this ONE pair.
